Who Must Attend?

Pesticide Applicators with category J certification must attend a continuing education class every two years. In addition, they must be licensed with the MN Department of Agriculture annually.

Your pesticide applicator license will give you all the information you need. Refer to the front of your applicator license card. To the right of your company name and address you will see the categories for which you are certified, and the date by which you need to “recertify” or take a class.

If you cannot find the information on the license card, click here for online license lookup. Enter the person’s last name, click on the license number and you will see their recertification date.

The registration fee for these classes is $165.00 per person. This covers categories: A (General Ground); and J (Forestry, Rights-of-Way and Natural Areas. The in-person workshop on November 19, 2024 will cover categories A, J & E ( Turf & Ornamentals).
